So we’re off. The congressional committee hearings on Muslims in America, run by NY Republican Peter King have begun and already they are full of false assertions. King, caught in one of many lies outlined below, has found a way to appeal to the fear and hatred of Americans for other Americans, fostering and encouraging it.
