Holiday Spirit

Bill O’Reilly and his minions at FoxNews want Muslims to “refudiate” terrorism, and absent that they are to be suspect.  O’Reilly et.al also waged a very public campaign to out those who didn’t share the “Christmas” spirit in the same way as he did, saying absent their vociferous bellowing of “Merry Christmas” they were surreptitiously sabotaging Christmas.

Muslims on the other hand were taking a much more pro-active stance about the holidays….something you can read and see here.

Early Christmas morning, hundreds of Muslim-Americans turned out to help their Christian friends by doing the volunteer work that they would normally do. Muslims say this is a way to allow Christians to celebrate the Holiday by stepping in to provide meals to seniors and distributing toys to needy children……

Once again putting a lie to the myth generated by the pundits who are on the payroll of today’s racists/fascists media whores. Oh and speaking of myths, did you hear the one about the Justin Bieber endorsement of the Ground Zero/Park51 mosque that really wasn’t an endorsement at all??  The Islamophobes, who constantly prove themselves to be the worse America has to offer, were tricked again into showing their racist colors by falling for another satirical website that claimed Bieber said something about Park51 that he really didn’t say.  Why don’t these people just admit they have nothing but their own animus which drives them towards insanity and stop hanging excuses on things that really don’t exist?!?!

Mosque foes recently started a boycott of Bieber after he made comments in support of the mosque project in an interview with Tiger Beat, a teen fan magazine….

I was able to reach the proprietor of the site, who confirmed that the Bieber item is in fact a hoax. “[T]he fact that some people take it seriously is hilariously depressing,” he said in an e-mail.

Depressing indeed, and par for the course.  America, wake up.

  1. Is that you love these Muslim animals that much, or is it just that you hate America, which continues to allow you live within its borders, so much that will side with any of our enemies?

  2. People are animals because of the way they behave, like you, coming into “my house” to reap insults and name calling on people because of what they believe. Nothing is closer to being an animal than this kind of behavior. It resembles the people who were duped into believing something JB didn’t say just because of their hatred for an idea, a legal idea and a group of people. Such hatred has led nations to wars, mine in the case of the Civil War of the 19th century and the world community in the case of Nazi Germany.
Oh, and America is just as much my country as yours. Born and raised in it and nurtured by all the good it has to offer, I’m as qualified to state my opinion about my country and its country men’s behavior as anyone else. I do it for free. You no doubt listen to the likes of Limbaugh, O’Reilly, Hannity, et.al who get paid for it, and it is my constitutionally protected right to do this. So please don’t patronize me with your filthy language about animals; being a human, you’re just as vulnerable to the charge. Merry Christmas!

  3. We agree on one thing; “‘People’ are animals because of the way they behave,” though we disagree – unsurprisingly – on what constitutes that behavior.

As for you being American – that’s laughable judging from your posts. You may have been rutted into existence within my nation’s borders but your were “nurtured” on hatred of America and its culture.

You never actually answered my question, but your response alludes, at least, to your support of our enemy being based more upon a hatred of the country kind enough to let you continue to live here than love of Islam.

  4. Your claim to America is no better, holier, greater or acceptable than mine or any of the other 312 million citizens of the country. What constitutes citizenship is fealty to the laws of the Constitution and respect for, not necessarily agreement in, the rights of fellow Americans.

I reject your racist notions of what’s American…Muslims have been living in this country for as long as any other ethnic group and have made the same kinds of contributions to the quality of life within this Republic as anyone else. They neither need nor seek your or my approval for being here or doing so. The sooner you realize that, the sooner you’ll be on the road to recovery from your insanity.

If you want to “argue” or belittle, please join a forum where these ideas can be discussed. I won’t do so here any further.

  5. jonolan, is it OK if your group of people is accused of being terrorist on American mass media all year long? This is what those people are doing, and if I were an American Muslim I will be angry and defend my beliefs. It is my American right, no? I am also bewildered by the hate infused in the American media for anything Muslim. I, being an Arab Muslim, am sad for what some Americans think about us. Nonetheless, I respect America and know there are many bright Americans who can search for and believe the truth.
